# Hyggear Funnel & Meta Ad Intelligence

**Scope:** public, observed customer journey and currently visible Meta Ad Library records.
**Captured:** July 25, 2026.
**Important:** this is competitive intelligence, not a verification of the advertiser's clinical claims, customer reviews, professionals, or corporate structure.

## Executive readout

Hyggear is running a direct-response commerce system built around three moves:

1. **Problem-first Meta/Google creative** that borrows medical, retail, or editorial authority.
2. **Long-form advertorials** that agitate a condition, introduce a mechanism story and industry villain, then use a large discount and scarcity to move visitors onward.
3. **A quiz-to-bundle-to-Shopify checkout path** with heavy event tracking and a high-volume bundle as the preferred offer.

The DermaRestore version uses a dermatologist-page identity and a pseudo-editorial “Costco shoppers” hook. Its documented destination is the Hyggear DermaRestore advertorial—not a separate publication. The public evidence supports coordinated control of several persona-style Facebook Pages, but **does not reveal whether each Page uses a separate Meta ad account**.

## Captured funnel

```text
Paid click (Google / Meta)
  -> Long-form advertorial
  -> Pure Health quiz
  -> package selector
  -> Hyggear product page
  -> Shopify checkout
  -> post-purchase flow not observed
```

### 1. Traffic entry and advertorial

Observed Google destination: `hyggear.com/pages/adv-dermarestore-73672546723490`.

The advertorial is engineered as an article rather than a conventional product page. Repeated CTA: **“Apply Discount & Check Availability.”** It routes to the quiz, not directly to product checkout.

Observed headline system and persuasion sequence:

- “Top Skincare MD: Rub This Botanical Balm on Crepey Skin for a Smoother Look?”
- “The Night Everything Changed” → personal revelation / emotional entry.
- “The Mind-Blowing Discovery” → curiosity gap.
- “The Real Root Cause of Crepey Skin” → mechanism reframing.
- “The 30-Second Skin Smoothing Secret Hiding in Plain Sight” → easy-solution promise.
- “This Breakthrough Is Pissing Off an Entire Industry” and “When You Mess With $90 Billion, They Come for You” → antagonist / conspiracy framing.
- “The Results That Have Luxury Skincare Clinics Scrambling” → status and social proof.
- “The 60% Off ‘Middle Finger’ to the Beauty Industry” → price/identity payoff.
- “But Here’s the Catch (And It’s a Big One)” → scarcity transition.
- “My Personal 180-Day ‘Smoother Skin or It’s Free’ Guarantee” → risk reversal.

Advertorial claims and framing observed:

- A medical-authority narrative associated with “Dr. Jonathan Clark MD” and a patient story.
- A botanical/mechanism story referencing beeswax, comfrey, Angelica sinensis, frankincense, and myrrh.
- Price anchor of **$89/tin**, then **60% off / $29**; “first 2,184 units only.”
- Claimed 180-day guarantee, 0.4% refund rate, and 30,000 women.
- FDA disclaimer present.

These should be treated as advertising claims, not substantiated facts. The story is designed to do the work of a presell: it converts skepticism into a problem/mechanism belief before price is introduced.

### 2. Quiz / qualification step

The advertorial’s CTA loads a `yourbodycheck.com` iframe branded **“Dermarestore (Pure Health Quiz)”**.

Observed quiz questions include age, affected area, primary concern (for example, dry/crepey-looking skin), and purchase intent. The result screen is a package selector:

| Package | Presented price | Shipping / framing |
|---|---:|---|
| 6 jars | $29/jar | “Most Popular”; free 3-day shipping |
| 3 jars | $39/jar | free 3-day shipping |
| 1 jar | $49/jar | $9.99 shipping |

CTA: **“Claim My Discount »”**. It routes to the Hyggear product URL.

Strategic role: the quiz is light qualification, but primarily a commitment device. It creates individualized momentum, makes the bundle recommendation feel tailored, and establishes the six-jar price as the “smart” choice before a normal storefront appears.

### 3. Product page and offer architecture

Observed product: `Hyggear™ DermaRestore Balm`.

Urgency banner:

> “DISCOUNT APPLIED. If You Leave This Page, You Lose Your Discount.”

Offer presentation:

| Offer | Displayed price | Discount / shipping |
|---|---:|---|
| 6 jars | $29.99 each | 60% off; free shipping |
| 3 jars | $39.99 each | 40% off; free shipping |
| 1 jar | $49.99 each | 20% off; $10 S&H |

Other conversion elements:

- “One-time purchase. No additional fees.”
- Doctor-recommended framing attributed to “Dr. Melissa Hartman, PhD, MSM.”
- Body-area applicability: arms, legs, hands, neck, chest, knees.
- Trust bar: fast secure payment, no hidden fees, fast shipping.
- 180-day risk-free / money-back guarantee.
- “Verified customer” testimonial blocks with fast-result language.

### Subscription assessment

In the observed path, this was presented as a **one-time purchase**, and the product page explicitly states “No additional fees.” The checkout showed no subscription selector, cadence, or recurring-price disclosure. A generic Shopify subscription component was detected in page resources, but that alone is not evidence of enrollment. A hidden or alternate flow cannot be ruled out; the observed flow did not show a subscription.

### Checkout finding: observed bundle persistence issue

After choosing the visible six-jar option and continuing, checkout showed **one jar** at $59.99 discounted to $49.99 (a $10 savings), rather than the expected six-jar package. The checkout tracking payload also recorded quantity 1 / “1 Jar.”

This is an observed configuration or persistence mismatch, not proof of intent. It is nevertheless material: it breaks message/offer continuity and could materially affect conversion rate, chargebacks, and compliance risk.

No pre-purchase upsell was observed before the checkout required customer details. Post-purchase upsells were not evaluated.

## Meta creative and persona capture

### Confirmed DermaRestore persona page

| Page / advertiser identity | Library IDs observed | Start dates observed | Destination | Hook / creative system |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| **Dr. Emily Carter, MD – Dermatologist** (`facebook.com/61587881672760`) | 1025802940136497; 1781770726511934; 1794602154856203; 1553219829493865; 1553432289743610 | Jun 23, 2026 (first four); Jun 28, 2026 (1553432289743610) | Hyggear DermaRestore advertorial | “Costco Shoppers Say This $13 Find Is the Skin Lift in a Bottle …Read More”; card: “The $13 Skin Lift Secret…Read More” |

The refreshed Ad Library record confirms IDs **1025802940136497**, **1781770726511934**, and **1794602154856203** as active, started June 23, 2026, marked as multiple-version ads, and linking to the same Hyggear advertorial. The public page identifies them as Sponsored by the Emily Carter dermatologist Page; it does not show an ad account ID, Business Manager, or funding entity.

### Other confirmed Hyggear-aligned persona identities

| Page / persona | Product angle | Example ad IDs / dates | Common hook |
|---|---|---|---|
| **Dr. Arthur Vance, DPM – Podiatrist** (`facebook.com/61587559647927`) | Hammer toe, bunion, toe separators | 936811875793438 (Mar 23); 1472677264443062 (Apr 8); 1992965624618221 (Feb 10); 1581016729659902 (Apr 22) | gentle straightening / restore natural foot shape; surgery avoidance |
| **Dr. Michael Carter, Hand & Finger Specialist** | Trigger finger / Finger Fix | 2105190056697231 (May 5); 2029467814304377 (Apr 22); 1666268834249890 (Apr 24); 1636399501003522 (Apr 22) | “How to relieve trigger finger pain at home?”; 60% off |
| **Hyggear official Facebook Page** (`facebook.com/61564125441176`) | Product-category ads, including foot and DermaRestore | 1774225720205664 (Feb 13); 1656151995624295 (Apr 22); 1343612110939910 (Apr 5); DermaRestore IDs 1036003225433081; 2099843187596081; 2216141078905115; 1066997832930604 | same pain-to-relief / discount / advertorial-destination pattern |

### What the creative system is doing

- **Persona authority:** doctor/specialist Page names create a stronger perceived source than a product brand.
- **Native/editorial framing:** “Costco Shoppers Say…” plus “Read More” makes the creative feel like a discovery article, not a product ad.
- **Condition vocabulary:** hammer toe, bunion, trigger finger, and crepey skin are used as problem identifiers—not generic beauty or wellness language.
- **Low-friction promise:** “at home,” “gently,” “non-invasive,” “30-second,” and “without surgery” reduce the implied cost of trying.
- **Discount as a decision mechanism:** 40–60% off, free shipping thresholds, and supply/discount-loss language create a clear reason to purchase now.
- **Repeated landing pattern:** the same operator can rapidly swap product, persona, and condition while keeping its presell/quiz/PDP machinery intact.

### Persona Pages vs. separate ad accounts

Public Meta data confirms separate **Page identities**. It does **not** expose backend commercial ad account IDs, Business Manager ownership, billing, or shared-account structure. The observable evidence—shared Hyggear domains, shared advertorial architecture, synchronized discount language, repeated medical-persona strategy—strongly suggests centralized operation. It cannot establish whether the operator uses one ad account, several ad accounts, or several Business Managers.

The accurate conclusion is:

> Hyggear appears to operate multiple persona-style Facebook Pages as advertiser identities. Public Meta records confirm Page-level ads and shared landing destinations, but do not publicly verify separate ad accounts.

## Operational risks and replication notes

### Material risks in their approach

- Health/medical authority, before/after implications, pain relief, and surgery-avoidance language create policy and substantiation exposure.
- Retailer-reference hooks (“Costco Shoppers…”) can create affiliation-impression risk if unaffiliated.
- Persona identity and publication-like copy can undermine trust and invite enforcement if misleading.
- Price anchoring is inconsistent across advertorial ($89), quiz ($29) and product page ($59.99 reference), requiring careful legal review.
- The observed six-jar-to-one-jar checkout mismatch is a high-priority buyer-experience issue.

### Ethical, durable version of the playbook

Replicate the **mechanics**, not the unsupported claims or identity borrowing:

1. Use a real expert or transparent brand byline, with evidence-backed claims.
2. Write a condition-aware education page that cites the evidence and distinguishes cosmetic appearance from medical treatment.
3. Use a quiz only if each answer changes a meaningful recommendation or education path.
4. Keep offer math identical from ad through checkout, including unit count, shipping, reference price, and recurring-purchase terms.
5. Offer a visible one-time / subscription choice; never bury continuity terms.
6. Instrument view content, quiz completion, package selection, add-to-cart, checkout, purchase, refund, and support contacts with consent-aware tracking.

## Evidence boundaries and open items

- Meta Ad Library is not a complete archive of historical commercial ads; it is strongest for active public ads. Political/social/issue ads have a different, longer archive treatment.
- The searched “Hyggear” keyword set was broad and includes multiple product categories; counts from generic keyword searches are not a clean advertiser-owned creative total.
- No independent substantiation was performed for named professionals, customer stories, clinical mechanisms, savings statements, or refund-rate claims.
- No order was placed; shipping, post-purchase upsells, return execution, and charge flows are unverified.
- Separate Meta ad accounts cannot be confirmed from public ad records.

## Source paths

- Meta Ad Library direct records, including `https://www.facebook.com/ads/library/?id=1025802940136497`.
- Hyggear advertorial, quiz, product page, and checkout as publicly reachable during the captured journey.
- Client-side requests observed during the journey.
